Anna

My name is Anna Volkovynska and I am from Ukraine.

I've been living in Palermo with my son since the conflict broke out in my country. I'm married and my husband is at war.

I speak Ukrainian (native), Russian, Italian, and English.

In Palermo I found work as a domestic worker, even though I graduated in Pedagogical Sciences from the University of Kiev. I have a passion for drawing, tailoring, European culture, hiking, and photography.

The workshop helped me unleash my creativity and my passion for painting. We also used the Canva program, which allowed me to improve my digital skills.

I dream of returning to Ukraine to reunite with my husband and family.
