My name is Albina Porokhnia - I am a master of handicrafts, for whom wool and threads become the material for creating unique works of art. My hands can turn ordinary material into something special - full of warmth, charm and soul.
The heart of my work is felting. It is this that allows me to turn wool into original clothes and accessories. One of my greatest achievements is the felt dress, which won first place in the all-Ukrainian handicraft competition.
The jury appreciated its unique character, precision of execution and artistic vision. This distinction proved to me that passion and heart put into work can turn ordinary wool into a real work of art.
I also create painted clothes, to which I give individuality and style, as well as delicate brooches embroidered with satin ribbons - small compositions of subtle beauty.
For many years I have been sharing my knowledge with others - I have conducted classes with children and adults, also with people with various health challenges. I taught how to discover talents, develop passion
and enjoy creation.
Today I want to continue to create, inspire and pass on love for special things. Each of my works is created with the intention of bringing a bit of beauty, warmth and uniqueness to life.
