Empowering Refugee & Migrant Women
through Creative Methods and Digital Literacy
In our latest workshop for the #erasmusplusproject Remcread, Smartphone Photography , a wonderful group of women came together to learn how to capture better photos using just their phones! Led by our colleague, Iulia, we explored the essentials of composition, lighting, and creative techniques, unlocking the full potential of our phone cameras.
One of the highlights was building a softbox and experimenting with different lighting setups to see how light transforms a photo. We didn’t just stay indoors—after learning the basics, we went to the nearby park, where we practiced capturing beautiful shots in natural light.
The workshop was part of the Women's Week events from Bündnis 0803 - Internationaler Frauentag Styria at Seddwell International Welcome Office and we’re grateful to be part of such an inspiring initiative.
REMCREAD project aims to strengthen the skills and competence of migrant/refugee women through creative workshops and digital literacy, as well as inspire and empower them to discover a new path in the entrepreneurship field.
