Empowering Refugee & Migrant Women
through Creative Methods and Digital Literacy

In the series of workshops in the Remcread project, by PCKK, we combine handicraft with the learning of digital tools - from photography, to graphics, to building your own online brand. It's not just creative work, it's also building self-confidence, support networks, and new competencies.
Each post in this series talks about one of the workshops - women sharing their talents, learning from each other and creating a new space for action.
We began the series of workshops with a meeting that combined creativity with reflection on personal development and online presence. Participants had the opportunity to present their works, which became a starting point for a conversation about talents, experiences and development directions.
Working using the Study Circle method, they collectively identified areas in which they want to grow - both creatively and digitally. Creating decorative soaps together was combined with learning to photograph objects with your phone - this was the first step towards building your own online presence.
The workshop ended with individual planning of further activities with the mentor. Participants have set their goals and next steps.
