Empowering Refugee & Migrant Women
through Creative Methods and Digital Literacy
At the beginning of the month, we organized a Botanical Painting workshop for migrant women in Graz as part of the #erasmusplusproject Remcread - Empowering migrant and refugee women through creative and digital skills.
Once again, we had the pleasure of learning from Maham from Pakistan, who introduced us to the art of botanical painting, using leaves and acrylics to create beautiful, nature-inspired designs. The participants experimented with different leaf patterns, colors, and layering techniques, letting their creativity flow.
A great group of women from around the world came together, exchanged stories, and enjoyed a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Beyond the painting, this workshop was a space for connection, shared experiences, laughter and nice conversations.
The participants asked for more workshops like this, so we’re excited to announce that in March, we’ll be hosting another creative session—this time with Susmita from India, exploring drawing through the Zentangle method. More details in the event below:
The project aims to strengthen the skills and competence of migrant/refugee women through creative workshops and digital literacy, as well as inspire and empower them to discover a new path in the entrepreneurship field.
A heartfelt thank you to Seddwell International Welcome Office for hosting us once again—we truly appreciate your support in making these workshops possible!
