Empowering Refugee & Migrant Women
through Creative Methods and Digital Literacy
As part of the #erasmusplusproject Remcread, we hosted our final session in our creative workshop series for migrant and refugee women—a mindful drawing workshop led by Susmita.
Inspired by Zentangle, this session focused on self-expression through breathwork and repetitive patterns, allowing emotions to unfold naturally on paper. Through belly breathwork, participants relaxed and let their creativity flow, drawing freely without the pressure of perfection. A special part of this session was our collaborative drawing activity, where we added small details to each other’s drawings and then created one collaborative drawing by drawing together at the same time.
Beyond drawing, this session was a space for relaxation, creativity, and connection. Women from different backgrounds shared stories, experimented with patterns, and supported each other in a welcoming atmosphere.
REMCREAD project aims to strengthen the skills and competence of migrant/refugee women through creative workshops and digital literacy, as well as inspire and empower them to discover a new path in the entrepreneurship field.
A heartfelt thank you to Seddwell International Welcome Office for hosting us once again—we truly appreciate your support in making these workshops possible!
