I've lived in Palermo for 13 years and fled my country because of the war. I was welcomed into Italy as a refugee.
I am married and the mother of five children who attend school. I speak Kosovar (native), Italian, and Serbian.
I do occasional work as a domestic worker and caregiver for the elderly. Unfortunately, I didn't study much and didn't complete primary school, but I can read and write.
I am interested in traditional cuisine, embroidery, and caring for my family. I hope to continue improving my Italian, help my children study, and find more stable employment.
The workshop helped me socialize and learn. I really enjoyed painting.
